Three Bears Tutorial

The Three Bears Tutorial is a simple, step-by-step guide to using Village CMS.

Imagine that the Three Bears have developed a specialty: making custom rocking chairs and beds. The business has grown by word of mouth, but they would like to reach a wider audience. They would also like to spend less time promoting their portfolio and more time building their wonderful furniture. 

The family hears from Goldilocks that there is this software called Village CMS that makes it really easy to create and update a website. They decide to try it.

Storyline

The storyline is as follows. After a family meeting, in which the Bears decide to create a website, Papa Bear goes out and signs up for an account at VillageCMS.com. Papa Bear likes to get things going and so he sets the overall tone. He is also not very computer savvy, so he sticks to the basics. He edits the home page, puts up the company pic, and adds a few pages.

Mama Bear takes a look and decides the website can use some sprucing up. She moves some pages arround, creates an image gallery or two, and adds a file.

Baby Bear is proud of the video he has created on the family business and would like to embed the YouTube video on the About Us page.

The Three Bears then call on Goldilocks to create and implement a design for them. Goldilocks also provides useful tips throughout the tutorial.
